Driveway Snow Pros clears residential driveways in Woodbury and Lake Elmo, Minnesota with tractor-mounted snow blowers instead of plows. A blower throws snow across the yard rather than pushing it into banks, so you get crisp edges and no piles. One flat rate of $785 covers the whole season.

# Crisp lines. Less piles.
A plow has to push your snow somewhere, and by February that somewhere is a frozen wall along your driveway. We run tractor-mounted blowers that throw snow out across the yard, so the driveway stays as wide in March as it was in November.

## A blower throws snow. A plow pushes it.
That one difference drives nearly every practical advantage. Here is what it means on your driveway through a Minnesota winter.
- **[Crisp lines](/snow-blowing-vs-snow-plowing/)** — The blower clears to the actual edge of the driveway instead of leaving a rounded, packed shoulder where the blade ran out.
- **[No piles at the edges](/snow-blowing-vs-snow-plowing/)** — Snow gets scattered thin across the yard. It never builds into the banks that narrow your driveway and block sight lines by February.
- **[The city berm, gone](/snow-blowing-vs-snow-plowing/)** — That frozen ridge the municipal plow leaves across your apron is the worst part of any storm. A blower chews straight through it.
- **[Easier on the lawn](/snow-blowing-vs-snow-plowing/)** — Blades catch turf edges and clip pavers and edging under fresh snow. Our skid shoes ride just above the surface instead.
- **[Steady in deep snow](/snow-blowing-vs-snow-plowing/)** — Plows ride up over heavy, wet, and drifted snow and leave a compacted layer behind. A blower moves deep snow at the same rate.
- **[Works on tight lots](/snow-blowing-vs-snow-plowing/)** — Narrow driveways, retaining walls, fences on both sides, shared driveways. When there is nowhere to push snow, blowing is the only clean option.

_How we run it_

## The same team comes to your home all season.

You are not getting whoever was available that morning. The same crew runs your street every storm, so they already know where your driveway edge sits under the snow, which side the walk is on, and where not to throw.

- One crew learns your property instead of re-learning it each storm
- Routes are sequenced by street, so your morning is predictable
- Woodbury and Lake Elmo only, which is what keeps the routes tight
- A real person answers at (612) 849-0254

_What it costs_
## One flat rate for the whole season.
No per-storm invoices, no trigger-depth arguments, no surprise bill after a heavy February. You pay once and we show up all winter.
$785 per season
One flat rate for the whole winter, however much it snows.
- Every snowfall over two inches, all season long
- The frozen berm the city plow leaves at the street
- Snow thrown wide across the yard, not banked along the edges
- The same team at your house every storm
- Deep and drifted storms at no extra charge
- Shoveling is not part of this service. Walks, steps, and decks stay yours.
- Leaving shoveling out is exactly why the season rate lands well under a typical plow contract.
Pricing is per residential driveway. Long or multi-vehicle driveways are quoted individually.

## Service area
We run two cities and nothing else. Tight routes are how the same team reaches every driveway the same morning.

## Questions before you sign up.

The things homeowners ask most. If yours is not here, call or text (612) 849-0254.

### Why blow the snow instead of plowing it?

A plow has to put the snow somewhere, so it builds banks along the driveway and at the street. Those banks get tall and frozen, narrow the driveway, and block sight lines when you pull out. A blower scatters the snow thin across the yard where it never accumulates into a problem, and it melts weeks earlier in spring.

### Do you clear the ridge the city plow leaves?

Yes. That frozen berm across your apron is included. A blower chews through it, which is the part a plow struggles with because it has to shove the berm aside and that is where the big pile by your mailbox comes from.

### Do you shovel the sidewalk, steps, or deck?

No. This service is the driveway only. Leaving shoveling out is deliberate: it is labor-intensive, it is what drives plow contracts up, and dropping it is how we hold the season rate at $785.

### What does $785 actually cover?

Every snowfall over two inches for the whole season, the city berm after each municipal plow pass, and deep or drifted storms at no extra charge. One rate, heavy winter or light.

### Will the tractor tear up my lawn or pavers?

Much less than a plow will. Plow blades catch turf edges, gouge sod, and clip curbs, pavers, and landscape edging when the driver misjudges the edge under fresh snow. Our blowers run skid shoes that ride a fraction of an inch above the surface. Spring cleanup is usually a few divots rather than reseeding the whole driveway margin.

### Can you do a gravel driveway?

Yes, and this is where blowing wins outright. Plowing gravel pushes it into the yard and the ditch every winter. We set the blower high and most of the gravel stays where it belongs.

### Which cities do you serve?

Woodbury and Lake Elmo only. Keeping the map small is what lets the same team run every route and reach every driveway on a predictable schedule.

## What winter customers say.

Driveway Snow Pros is new and has no reviews of its own yet. This is a Google review left for Hansen's Lawn Care, the sister company run by the same owner, about winter driveway work.

> "From the moment I contacted them for a quote to the completion of the job, their professionalism and attention to detail were evident. They took care of my driveway all winter and even cleaned up heavy snow after a spring storm. ... The team was punctual, efficient, and respectful of my property."
> — K. McCulloch, Google review for Hansen's Lawn Care
