# About Driveway Snow Pros

> Why we blow driveway snow instead of plowing it, why we only serve two cities, and why shoveling is not on the list. One service, done properly.

_About us_
# One service, two cities, one price.
Most snow contractors try to cover every property type across half the metro. We went the other way. Driveways, blown not plowed, in Woodbury and Lake Elmo, for one seasonal rate.

Driveway Snow Pros is owned by Richard Hansen, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and operates out of Commerce Dr in Woodbury. The business exists because of a specific complaint we kept hearing from homeowners: the driveway gets cleared, but by February it is noticeably narrower than it was in November, there is a frozen wall where the lawn used to be, and something along the edge got clipped.

All three are symptoms of the same thing. A plow blade has to put the snow somewhere. Once we stopped trying to solve that and switched the equipment instead, the complaints went away.

## Three deliberate limits

- **Driveways only** — No parking lots, no sidewalks, no roof work. A residential driveway is a specific problem and we solve that one.
- **Two cities only** — Woodbury and Lake Elmo. Short routes are the reason the same team can reach every customer the same morning.
- **One price only** — $785 for the season. No per-storm invoices and no arguments about whether a given snowfall counted.

_The shoveling question_

## We leave out the most expensive part on purpose.

Shoveling walks, steps, and decks is slow, manual work, and it is the single largest cost in a full-service snow contract. Leaving it out is the reason this service costs meaningfully less than a plow contract. If you need the walks done too, you want a different contractor, and we will say so rather than sell you something that does not fit.

- Driveway cleared edge to edge, including the city berm
- Walks, steps, and decks are not touched
- That single omission is most of the price difference
